This is a short skit we created showing online gambling and how an addicted gambler looses his money by being persuaded by an advert into betting for the team that goes on to lose.

NRL Round 9 Review
The NRL returned to action this week with some important games to be decided.
Friday night saw the Roosters take on the Tigers and the Cowboys take on the Broncos. These two were similar games with two under performing but improving teams in the Roosters and Cowboys taking on two teams who have had good starts to the year but are starting to falter in the Tigers and the Broncos. The results went the predicted way with the Roosters easily accounting for the Tigers 30-6 and the Cowboys comfortably defeating the Broncos 27-14. With the Roosters and the Cowboys both starting to get on a roll the other teams will be looking over theie shoulders.
Saturday continued in this vain with two more teams coming into form putting the cleaners through two faltering teams. In New Zealand the Warriors put it together to thrash the struggling Raiders 54-12, with two massive defeats Ricky Stuart now has the new wooden spoon favourites on his hands in the shape of the Canberra Raiders. The second game of the night saw Souths easily account for the Titans 40-18, Souths a starting to click and look every bit Premiership favourites while the Titans are starting to struggle. The final match of Saturday night saw the Melbourne Storm take on the Manly Sea-Eagles in what has become a traditionally tough high quality match. In A see-sawing affair the Melbourne Storm were finally on the right side of the scoreboard at fulltime winning 22-19.
Sunday the NRL headed to Newcastle where the Knights hoped to turn their fortunes around at home against the Penrith Panthers but unfortunately for the home crowd the Panthers were far too good for the Knights winning 32-10 in the process keeping the Knights at the foot of the ladder. The final match of Sunday saw the Dragons take on the top of the table Bulldogs and in bad news for future Dragons player Benji Marshall the Bulldogs delivered 38-6 and continued the reign at the top of the table.
So with just the Parramatta Eels to take on the Cronulla Sharks on Monday night lets have a look at the Top 8:
1 Bulldogs 14
2 Manly 12
3 Titans 12
4 Roosters 10
5 Souths 10
6 Penrith 10
7 Tigers 10
8 Melbourne 10

Man City to Clench EPL title!!!
Liverpool were in the hot seat to win the English Premier League until they had a 3-all draw woth Crystal Palace. Liverpool were leading 3-0 going into the last 10 minutes of the match, about to secure the EPL title, until three late goals from Crystal Palace saw Liverpool clenching their heads in their hands.
The next contender to the EPL title are Manchester City. Man City won their last game, with a 3-2 win over Everton. This win put them at the top of the EPL table with 83 points with Liverpool behind them on 81 points.
With only one game left to play Man City have to at least get a draw to win the title, which should be easy since they are up against twelfth placed West Ham.
For Liverpool to win the title they have to win their next game against ninth placed Newcastle, and hope that Man City lose their upcoming match.
So let's see who will win the next English Premier League title!!!

NRL Representative Round Wrap Up!
There were no NRL club matches this weekend, instead we had the Trans-Tasman Australia vs New Zealand Test Match and the annual City vs Country Origin game which is something of a trial for the upcoming NSW vs QLD State of Origin series.
Firstly the Australia vs New Zealand Test Match, won in the end 30-18 by the Australians. The Invincible Australians were roundly touted to run rampant over the understrength, inexperienced New Zealanders...but that was never going to be the way it worked out. With headlines such as,"Valiant Kiwis do Coach Kearney proud" and "Kangaroos overrun brave Kiwis" you could guess how the match played out even if you didn't watch it. The Kiwis flew out of the blocks and caught the Australians napping with an early try to in-form front-rower Jesse Bromwich. In a tit for tat first half the Kiwis went into the break leading 18-12 in front of 25000 shocked fans.
The second half saw the game to and fro with Jonathan Thurston and Cooper Cronk attempting to take control and the New Zealanders refusing to lie down. The class of the Australians telling in the end, delivering the knock out blow in the final minutes to win 30-18 with two tries to star winger Brett Morris.
With NSW State of Origin berths on the line City and Country lined up in Dubbo and quite a few big names put their best foot forward. The result of the game was a 26-all draw with City snatching the draw in the final moments with a try to Will Hopoate. With the result fairly irrelevant it was the performance of the players that was the priority. With the game being touted as a genuine Origin trial by NSW coach Laurie Daley – who watched on in the grandstand – the likes of Beau Scott, Jamal Idris, Hopoate, Josh Jackson, Andrew Fifita, Aaron Woods, Daniel Tupou and James McManus did their chances no harm. Whether they are picked come NSW SOO selection we will have to wait and see.

ROAR WIN A-LEAGUE GRAND FINAL!!!
A amazing grand final game to say the least has concluded on the weekend, with Brisbane Roar hosting the Western Sydney Wanderers in the A-League Grand Final on Sunday.
The game was a sell out with more than 51,000 people attending, with almost 20,000 making the trek from Sydney to fill the Red and Black Bloc (RBB) .
The first half the Wanderers looked the better team, controlling the ball and making opportunities to score. However, neither team were able to score in the first half.
Ten minutes into the second half saw defender Matthew Spiranovic, from the Wanderers, head in a goal from a corner kick. This saw the Wanderers take the lead 1-0.
In the 64th minute, there was a massive blow to the Wanderers camp when captain Nikolai-Topor Stanley twisted his knee making a crucial tackle. This weakened the Wanderers midfield where they are excellent at controlling the ball.
Wanderers started playing more defensively to protect their lead, as the captain was no longer there to help them push the ball forward.
Wanderers were five minutes from winning when Berisha headed in a free kick, to put the Roar level at 1-1.
The game then went into extra time. Six minutes in Wanderers substitute Haliti made a brilliant shot which was saved by the Roar keeper. However, both teams failed to convert any goals in the first part of extra time.
Two minutes into the second period of extra time saw Brazilian born Henrique slot in a goal to seal the victory for the Roar. The Brisbane Roar were Victorious in the A-League grand final, with a 2-1 win over the Western Sydney Wanderers.

Indiana Pacers versus the Washington Wizards.
Miami Heat versus Brooklyn Nets.
In the Western Conference finals we have:

Who Do You Think Will Win The 2014 French Open?
With the French Open about to start really soon let’s
examine some of the fan favourites in the upcoming tournament! For the past
four years in a row, Rafael Nadal has won the French Open due to his noted
superiority when playing on clay courts. However, this looks like it will
change this year due to his recent performance at the Monte-Carlo Masters. His
dominance on the surface is being questioned due to his less than stellar
performance in the Masters tournament.
Novak Djokovic is also an obvious crowd favourite. However
his right wrist injury severely affects his chances of winning this Grand Slam.
The French Open has always been the one grand slam that has always eluded Novak
and with this injury it might continue to.
With the general consensus being neither Nadal nor Novak not winning this
year’s French Open, who will?
My money’s on Roger Federer as his performance has been
exceptional recently. At age 32, he may still have one last chance to become
the top player in the ATP tour, especially with the way the season is shaping
up. Let’s also not forget Stanislas Wawrinka who won the recent Masters
tournament and is in great shape in regards to his recent number of matches.
The big names aside, we cannot underestimate the underdogs either. A personal
favourite of mines is Gael Monfils. If he overcomes his constant habit of
getting injured during tournaments, he may have a shot at the title, albeit a
very small shot.
Clearly this year's French Open is unique as the title is really in
the air, so who do you think will win?
